Karly Jewell releases new single: Sad Girl

Karly Jewell's New Single and Accompanying Video, 'Sad Girl', Drops in conjunction with Signing to XMusic

Australia’s fastest growing rock label, XMusic, has added exciting Melbourne rock vocalist, Karly Jewell to their stable. With her first single for XMusic, "Sad Girl", released two weeks ago.

Karly says of the track:

"Sad Girl is a song about being confident in who you are and not worrying about what anyone says. It's the song that brings everyone together because that's what music does. If I could sum myself up in a song, well this is who I am.

I am that small town girl from where the two rivers meet. The girl that would stand under the stars as a five year old with my late grandfather dreaming so big with him telling me it's just written in the stars.

I've always been known to write quite dark and sad songs but who's to say you can't have fun with them and make them Pop Rock Anthem Tracks. I wouldn't change who I am for the world and I just love a good pop song that makes you want to dance. I am the Sad Girl making her dreams come true one song at a time.”

Sad Girl the song that embraces being different and being proud of who you are. A Pop Rock anthem for anyone that wants to stand up, shout it out and be proud.

Karly on joining XMusic:

"It doesn't get any better. It's been my dream my whole life to do music, to be a song writer and share it with the whole world. To know I have the best team backing me and believing in me is just the greatest feeling in the world. I honestly can't thank Tim and the team enough."

"We are so excited to have Karly join the XMusic team! She is ready to kick ass around the world and we are ready to go on that journey with her. Her intro song Sad Girl is only the start of what's to come!" Tim McLean Smith - XMusic
