In Rogue Planet issue 1, a salvage crew aboard the starship Cutter is drawn to a mysterious, uncharted planet after detecting a distress signal, hoping to recover valuable cargo. The planet, dubbed the "Rogue Planet," is a desolate, alien world with a harsh environment. As the crew lands and begins their exploration, they quickly realize that something is horribly wrong.
Strange, organic structures and remains are scattered across the landscape, hinting at a deadly and unknown force at work. The crew soon encounters grotesque, terrifying creatures that appear to be hunting them. The situation quickly escalates from a routine salvage mission to a desperate struggle for survival as the crew members are separated and start falling victim to the planet's horrors.
