About Tony Grant
Tony Grant is a comic book artist, 2D/3D animator and writer. His latest works is the ongoing indie comic book series and animated shorts called The New World. A proud Gen X’er, Tony hails from Queens, New York, and his artwork and music production is inspired by 80’s/90’s anime, Hip Hop, Rock and Alternative Grunge.
Tony pays homage to animated classic films such as Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Transformers the Movie and Heavy Metal throughout his works. The New World is an adult anime drama that takes place in a cyberpunk dystopian future.
Having the success of three consecutive book signing sell out events at Oxford Comics in Atlanta, Tony has no plans on slowing down his work on his thought provoking, sometimes controversial comic book series as multiple animated projects and issues are currently deep in production.
The New World is available in print at Oxford Comics and Games in Atlanta, GA and online at Graffiti Comics.
