Ho99o9 Trade Politics for Personal Chaos on Their Most Explosive Album Yet

Ho99o9 (aka horror with a crowbar and a switchblade) are back — and they’re not easing into anything. The New Jersey-born, LA-hardened industrial punks will unleash their third full-length, Tomorrow We Escape, this September 9th. Strap in, freaks.

If United States of Horror was a Molotov cocktail lobbed at the system, this new album is what happens after the flames die down — and you're left alone with your demons. A gnashing mash of twisted electronics, dystopian hip hop, crust punk vitriol, and future-metal body blows, Tomorrow We Escape drips with emotion and scars you can actually feel. Less politics, more personal apocalypse.

“When we started this process, we knew we wanted to make more relatable songs,” says theOGM. “It was a healthy challenge to focus on emotion. In the past, a lot of our material was politically charged. That element is present to a degree, but we wanted to take a more personal route. This mindset drove how we wrote songs. Everybody has a struggle. The goal is to find motivation for preservation.”

First Hit: “Upside Down” is Pure Sonic Vertigo

Lead single “Upside Down” is out now and it slaps like a fever dream wrapped in barbed wire—glitched-out guitars, narcotic melodies, and a bassline that’ll punch you in the sternum. It comes with a Blade Runner-esque nightmare of a music video, set in a world where the Yuan rules all and water costs more than your soul.

Ho99o9: Your Favourite Band's Favourite Demolition Crew

Ho99o9 have been leveling venues and minds for over a decade, torching genre lines along the way. Whether they’re melting faces alongside Slipknot, Korn, or Rob Zombie — or blowing up collabs with JPEGMAFIA, HEALTH, and The Prodigy — they remain uncategorisable and completely unignorable.

Jack Black’s into them. Eric Andre’s into them. The pit at Hellfest was into them. So is The New York Times. And Kerrang!. And pretty much anyone whose ever headbutted a speaker in righteous fury.
