Frankenbok announce New EP, IRREPRESSIBLE, and New Music Video, DOPAMINE, Out on Australia Day

Frankenbok have announced a brand new EP ahead of their support slot on Alien Ant Farm and Drowning Pool's national Australian tour:

Since their conception in 1997, Frankenbok have had a curse of revolving door musicians, with the only constant being founding member and guitarist Aaron “Azza Bok” Butler. Azza's style and musical vision is countered only by his tenacity and drive in forming the nucleus of what every musician strives to be, but few manage to accomplish.

2024 saw the return of their original vocalist Adam Glynn, and signing to new record label XMusic.

Drummer Tom Rossell and bassist Owen Spratling complete the current line up and Frankenbok plan for a furious return in 2025 kicking off dates in February with Alien Ant Farm, Drowning Pool, Dreadnaught and The Eternal.

The refurbished line up's first instalment has been met with praise by peers and critics alike via the release of their single, Demon Tantrum.

Azza Bok had this to say about the new EP:

"So we did this as just a bit of fun and I have always loved the original Pete Burns version… We DO have a album coming out real soon that’s not as fruity and plenty nasty… but this was great fun getting back to being the idiots we have always been and not being super serious… Life is serious enough and I’ve seen what becomes of grown ups! So try to laugh as much as possible you will live longer!"

Vocalist Adam Glynn added:

“This new release so far is sounding like if GREETINGS and LOOPHOLES fucked and had a mutant love child that was then breast fed on steroids and red bull!”

The music video for Dopamine (I Got A New Ping) drops on Australia Day (January 26th).

Irrepressible EP Track list:

  1. Dopamine (I Got A New Ping)

  2. iWOKE

  3. The Fallen Phoenix

  4. We're NOT The Drummonds

  5. Static Wings
