About the Host

Brian Prime grew up poor in the American south where he loved X-Men, Nine Inch Nails, and horror movies. At 21, he left Florida for Reno, NV where he fell in love with the west coast. Brian attended University of Nevada, Reno for Creative Writing & Culturual Studies where he also tutored for the University's Writing Center, and was recognized for his outstanding academic achievements and published several times.

While working as a Writer and Curator for ReGen Magazine, Brian rediscovered his passion for music and decided to meld it with his journalistic tendencies. In 2021, Brian launched his own pirate radio show/podcast, Void Signal. Void Signal has gone on to be performed LIVE at Mechanismus Festival, just recently turned 3 years old, has 100+ episodes, and has featured interviews with HEALTH, Stabbing Westward, IAMX, Dance with the Dead, and dozens more.
