LG Thomson
Author/Novelist
Published author of 'Modernist Dreams Brutalist Nightmares' and 'Bitter Fruit'
LG Thomson is an author and artist living in Ullapool, a small fishing village in the north west Highlands lying on the same latitude as Lost Cove, Alaska.
Her writing has appeared in a wide range of literary publications including Wyldblood Magazine, Epoch Press, and the Urban Pigs Hunger anthology. She is the author of seven novels, including neo noir thriller Boyle's Law.
LG's first non-fiction book, Modernist Dreams Brutalist Nightmares, is a searingly honest and brutally funny memoir about being part of the first generation to grow up in Scotland’s most ambitious and experimental 'New Town'. The sequel, Bitter Fruit, is an equally frank and darkly funny memoir set in 1980s Scotland. Bitter Fruit is loaded with tales of sex & drugs & rock ‘n’ roll, hippies & punks, nightmares & masks, dreams & hopes.
Both memoirs are published by Outcast Press.
